Baby Barrier Cream
Our Baby Barrier Cream contains ingredients that provide an effective barrier
protecting and restoring sensitive skin.
The castor oil provides anti-inflammatory properties, while the tallow improves
barrier integrity and reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL). This means
that, even though a protective barrier is created to prevent skin contact with
moisture, the skin won’t dry out.
Beeswax is used because it aids the creation of a barrier while soothing the skin.
Zinc is added because it acts as a protective, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory
agent that forms a physical, water-resistant shield on the skin.
Zea Mays (Corn) Starch absorbs excess sebum and moisture, making it effective
for preventing chafing and keeping skin dry in areas exposed to moisture for
extended times. It creates a smooth, dry barrier on the skin's surface. It also
calms irritation and redness on sensitive skin.
Applications include:
 Used as a baby barrier cream during nappy changes
 Used as a barrier cream in areas where individuals experience excessive
sweating
